Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build secure, scalable and reliable backend systems for our web applications, SaaS products and APIs.

You will be responsible for designing backend architecture, developing business logic, managing databases and ensuring that our applications can handle increasing users and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs
• Design clean and reliable backend architecture
• Develop REST APIs for web and mobile applications
• Design and optimise database structures
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Improve application performance and security
• Handle authentication, roles and permissions
• Build background jobs, queues and scheduled processes
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Review code and maintain development standards
• Troubleshoot production issues
• Work closely with frontend, mobile, AI and DevOps teams
