The purpose of the assessment is to check the candidate’s basic knowledge related to the position before the recruitment team proceeds with the application.
Passing an assessment does not guarantee a job.
The final decision may depend on the candidate’s assessment result, resume, experience, practical skills, portfolio, interview performance, communication, and the requirements of the position.
About the Skill Assessment Fee
SoftMaji does not charge candidates a recruitment fee.
There is no fee for:
- Submitting a job application
- Attending an interview
- HR screening
- Technical interviews
- Getting an employment offer
- Joining the company
- Getting a job
However, some positions require candidates to complete a skill assessment through our assessment platform, Certify.
The current standard assessment fee is ₹49.
This amount is for the assessment and certification service. It is not a job application fee and it does not guarantee employment.
The assessment system involves online examination infrastructure, evaluation, result processing, certificate generation, certificate verification, and online certificate hosting.
Candidates should take the assessment only if they are genuinely interested in the relevant position and are prepared to demonstrate their knowledge.

Why We Use Skill Assessments
A resume can tell us about a person’s education and previous experience, but it may not always show their actual knowledge of a particular subject.
A skill assessment gives candidates an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge before the application moves forward.
For example, a candidate applying for a Laravel Developer position may be asked to complete a Laravel-related assessment.
This helps us understand whether the candidate has the basic knowledge required for the role.
The assessment is only one part of our recruitment process.
We Do Not Sell Jobs
